White-collar trade schools for construction & engineering
Too many resources are dedicated to skilling college grads.
When you hire an entry-level carpenter, ironworker, electrician, or welder, you feel confident that they know the basics of the job because they’ve just come from a trade school, apprenticeship, or union training hall designed to get them job ready.
Your white-collar talent, on the other hand, arrives from universities loaded with theory, no field awareness, no ability to read specs, no mastery of the job tools, no experience coordinating a subcontractor, and no professional instincts.
Then you have to expend significant time, money, and human resources to transform them into value-added employees.
There’s no reason it has to be that way . . .
The White-Collar Trade School
Learn by doing
Whether physical or mental, job skills can only be mastered by doing. Not by lectures. Not by textbooks. Only by doing the work.
This truth is at the core of how we do everything at pega6’s white-collar trade school.
Project Engineers
We’re launching our first ever white-collar trade school focused on producing the industry’s best entry-level Project Engineers.
An entirely experiential curriculum.
1 year. 9 professional-grade projects. 2 design charrettes. 40-50 hours/week.
Pega6 students graduate job-ready with 39 skills at mastery level and 34 at proficiency because they're getting the reps and variety that they can only get through 2,000+ supervised hours working on professional-grade construction projects.
The result?
Our grads aren’t high potential. They’re high performing.
Job-ready on day one
Your PM gets a Project Engineer who can own a workfront, coordinate submittals, run the daily reports, and translate field conditions into documentation from the first project. In other words, you don’t need to teach them how to be a Project Engineer.
Zero employer resources required
Unlike apprenticeships or internships, pega6 doesn’t run on your payroll, your senior time, or your project supervision. We take students from zero to one entirely on our own, and then we hand you a one on a silver platter.
Fill your mid-level bench sooner
Because pega6 Project Engineers arrive with the technical and soft skills of a 2nd/3rd-year Project Engineer, they can become Project Managers years earlier than a college graduate would. So, you can solve your PM shortage that much more quickly.
Reducing the burden on your PMs
Your mid-level resources are already stretched thin, and the consequences are compounded by college grads who need significant coaching and oversight for the first 12 months. Because they arrive job ready, pega6 grads require minimal handholding, which frees up a meaningful amount of time for your PMs.
You’ll graduate over $100,000 ahead of college students.
First the Project Engineer . . . and then the world!
Project Engineers are just the beginning. By late 2028 we plan to begin rolling out trade schools for other white-collar entry-level roles in the construction & engineering space.
